Interested in enhancing your employability skills and gaining experience in a community setting?
LTU2SLC Service Learning in the Community is an online subject which involves undertaking a 100 – 120 hours volunteering experience in a community-based, not-for-profit organisation. This can include welfare agencies and charities, sporting and special interest clubs, international aid agencies, and social enterprises.
LTU2SLC Service Learning in the Community allows you to gain an insight into a professional setting and develop new and relevant industry skills.
Students already volunteering may be eligible to utilise their current arrangement for the purposes of LTU2SLC – dependent on Subject Coordinator approval.
This subject is available in semesters 1,2 and summer.
