What's your big idea?
Would you like to design an innovative way to solve a global business problem and gain the recognition that comes with winning a technology competition?
We are looking for students who are capable of harnessing technology to simplify the audit process, speed it up and make it more efficient.
An audit is an independent examination of an organisation’s financial position and performance to gauge whether its financial report reflects reality.
In a world of fake news, audit has never been more important because it enables people to trust the financial information they depend on to make decisions.
Project brief
Design a new way to improve the audit process using technology. You can explore any type of technology including apps, data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, drones, robotics or blockchain. The idea could be used at any stage at the audit process i.e. from pre-engagement activities to reporting.
The competition is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students currently undertaking a degree in either Australia or New Zealand. Entries are both open to individuals and groups.
